How to Use This Mold

For epoxy resin: mix at a 3:1 ratio (Part A:Part B by volume) and add pigment, alcohol ink, or inclusions as desired. Pour slowly from a low height into the centre of the mold and allow the resin to self-level to the edges. Use a heat gun on low held 15–20 cm away to pop surface bubbles within the first 10 minutes of pouring. For pressed flower embeds, pour a thin base layer, allow to gel for 1–2 hours, lay your botanicals face-down, then complete the pour for a perfect encapsulated display. Allow 24–48 hours cure time before demolding. Flex the mold gently away from the edges to release the disc cleanly — the food-grade platinum silicone will not tear.

For soy wax tarts: melt your soy wax, cool to approximately 60 °C, add fragrance oil at 6–10% by weight of wax, stir gently, then pour at 50–55 °C. Allow to cool undisturbed for 3–4 hours. No wick is needed for wax tarts — simply place the disc in a wax melt warmer to release fragrance.

To clean: rinse with warm water immediately after demolding. For stubborn resin residue, soak in isopropyl alcohol for 5 minutes then wipe with a soft cloth. The mold can also be cleaned with boiling water after wax use.
