5 in 1 Bookmark Mold – Five Bookmark Cavities for Resin Art, Personalised Gifts & Handmade Book Lover Collections
The 5 in 1 Bookmark Mold from THE CRAFT STATION MOLDS gives you five bookmark cavities in a single silicone mold — pour five beautiful handmade resin bookmarks in one session. Each cavity features the classic slim rectangle shape with a hole at the top for a ribbon, tassel, or chain, making the finished pieces ready to thread and gift straight from the mold. This is the mold for resin artists who sell at gifting fairs, take custom book lover orders, or want to produce bookmarks for teachers, libraries, reading clubs, and wedding favour tables.
Made from food-grade platinum silicone that is BPA-free and non-toxic, this mold flexes easily for clean demolding so your finished bookmarks release with a smooth mirror finish on the mold-facing side. With 100+ uses, the 5 in 1 Bookmark Mold is a high-yield production mold — one batch, five finished pieces, ready to sell or gift. Combine it with epoxy resin, resin pigments, and dried botanicals for premium handmade bookmarks your customers will treasure.
Rectangular mold cavities are also versatile beyond bookmarks — use them to cast resin luggage tags, gift tags, pendant charms, personalised keychains, and domino-style name plaques. Five cavities per session maximises output and minimises resin waste from small individual pours.

Step-by-Step: UV Resin Bookmark with Dried Flowers
UV resin is the fastest production method for a batch of five bookmarks in a single session — cure one layer at a time while the other cavities are being prepared, and finish all five in under an hour.
1. Prepare Five Cavities
Place the 5 in 1 Bookmark Mold flat on a silicone mat near your UV lamp. Gather UV resin, resin pigment, dried flower petals (pressed botanicals work best for flat inclusions), tweezers, toothpick, and IPA wipes. Wear nitrile gloves in a ventilated workspace.
2. Base Colour Layer
Mix a small amount of UV resin with your chosen resin pigment. Pour a 2–3mm base layer into all five cavities simultaneously. Use a toothpick to spread the resin evenly to the edges and into the hole at the top. Cure all five under your 36W+ UV lamp for 2 minutes.
3. Place Inclusions — Partial-Gel Technique
On the cured base layer in each cavity, arrange dried flower petals or pressed botanicals using tweezers. Position them face-down so they press against the visible front surface of the bookmark — this keeps inclusions crisp and detailed. One pressed gypsophila cluster, a violet pansy, or a few rose petals per bookmark creates a distinct look for each piece in the set of five.
4. Encapsulation Pour
Pour a layer of clear UV resin over the inclusions in all five cavities to encapsulate them fully. Use a toothpick to push resin into any gaps around the petals. Cure for 3–5 minutes.
5. Final Top-Up & Mirror Finish
Fill each cavity flush to the top with a final pour of clear or lightly tinted UV resin. Cure 3–5 minutes. After curing, wipe each bookmark surface with an IPA-soaked cloth to eliminate the oxygen inhibition layer (tackiness) and reveal a glossy, mirror finish.
6. Demold & Thread
Flex the silicone mold from the sides; all five bookmarks pop out cleanly via easy release. Lightly sand any rough edges with 400-grit wet sandpaper. Thread a satin ribbon, jute twine, metallic chain, or tassel through the hole at the top. Your handmade resin bookmarks are ready to gift or sell.
Epoxy Resin Bookmarks — Deep Inclusions & Personalised Embeds
For bookmarks with deeper inclusions — thick pressed flowers, photo inserts, printed text, or layered colour swirls — use epoxy resin at the 3:1 ratio (3 parts Part A resin to 1 part Part B hardener by volume). Mix thoroughly for 3 minutes before pouring. Because bookmark cavities are relatively slim, the two-layer pour technique is optional for simple colour pours but recommended for embedded inclusions:
Layer 1: Fill each cavity halfway. Allow to cure 12–18 hours until firm but slightly tacky. Place your inclusion — a sealed photo, pressed flower, gold foil strip — using tweezers. Layer 2: Pour remaining clear or tinted epoxy to the top. Full cure 24–48 hours. Demold, sand if needed, and thread your chosen tassel or ribbon.
For personalised bookmarks with a name or quote, print the text on white cardstock, seal with Mod Podge (let dry 1 hour), cut to fit the cavity, and embed in Layer 1 using the process above. A name bookmark is one of the most popular custom gifts at Indian craft fairs and makes a premium return-to-school or teacher appreciation gift.
Colour Ideas & Design Themes
Botanical Garden Set
Five bookmarks, five different pressed flowers — violet, marigold, gypsophila, rose petal, and fern. Use a clear UV resin base so each flower is the hero. Thread with matching coloured satin ribbons for a gift-ready set of five.
Galaxy & Cosmos
Deep navy or black base with holographic glitter and silver mica swirls. No inclusions needed — the resin itself creates the galaxy effect. Thread with a gold metallic chain for a modern, minimal bookmark aesthetic.
Pastel Reading Club
Five bookmarks in five soft pastel shades — blush pink, mint, lavender, peach, and sky blue — each with a clear encapsulation layer and white satin ribbon. A matching pastel bookmark set is a bestseller at book clubs, school libraries, and gifting boutiques.
Marble Luxury
White opaque base with fine gold veining dragged with a toothpick before curing. Thread on a thin gold chain. A marble resin bookmark looks expensive and sells well at premium craft fairs and corporate gifting events.
Wedding Favour Bookmarks
Champagne ivory base with pressed dried rose petals and a gold foil initial charm. Thread with a satin ribbon in the wedding's accent colour. A set of 50 personalised wedding favour bookmarks is a growing custom order category — use UV resin for fast batch production.
Project Ideas & Pricing for Handmade Sellers
The 5 in 1 Bookmark Mold is a high-output production mold that makes economic sense for handmade sellers. Five bookmarks per batch, multiple batches per session — here are retail price suggestions:
Single botanical resin bookmark: ₹150–₹400 retail. Pressed flower embedded in clear resin with a satin ribbon. Premium feel, low material cost, strong margins for craft fair sellers.
Set of 5 bookmarks (mixed designs): ₹500–₹1,500 retail. Gift-boxed with ribbons in coordinating colours. A popular birthday gift, reading club gift, and Diwali gifting set.
Personalised name bookmark: ₹200–₹500 retail. Printed name or quote embedded in resin. Offer as a custom order on WhatsApp — personalised products command a significant premium over generic designs.
Teacher appreciation gift set (5 bookmarks in a gift box): ₹600–₹1,200 retail. Sell during teachers' day and exam season. Schools and parents often purchase sets for all teachers in a department.
Wedding favour bookmarks (B2B bulk — 50–200 pcs): ₹80–₹200 per piece at bulk pricing. Contact us on WhatsApp for bulk mold pricing to scale production. A 100-piece wedding favour order at ₹150 each = ₹15,000 revenue from a single event.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I make five different designs in one pour session?
Yes — each cavity is independent. You can pour a different colour or inclusion design into each of the five cavities simultaneously. For UV resin, cure all five together under your lamp. For epoxy, prepare five small batches or divide one larger batch before adding different pigments or inclusions to each cavity.
How do I prevent inclusions from floating to the top?
For UV resin: pour a thin base layer, cure it fully (2 minutes), then place inclusions on the cured surface before adding the encapsulation layer. The cured surface holds inclusions in place and prevents floating. For epoxy: use the partial-gel timing method — pour, wait 20–40 minutes until the resin is thick but not set, then place inclusions with tweezers.
What ribbon or tassel size fits the top hole?
Most standard 3mm–5mm satin ribbons, jute twine, or thin metallic chains fit comfortably through the bookmark's top hole. Thread after demolding and before gifting. For a tassel attachment, attach the tassel loop to a jump ring first, then thread the jump ring through the hole for a cleaner finish.
Can I use this mold for tags and labels?
Absolutely — the rectangle cavity with top hole is versatile beyond bookmarks. Use it for gift tags, luggage tags, wine bottle tags, plant labels, and keychain charms. For gift tags, embed the recipient's name using the photo embedding technique with sealed printed cardstock.
How long does each bookmark batch take from pour to finish?
UV resin bookmarks: approximately 30–45 minutes for a 3-layer pour (base, inclusions, top-up) with full cure between layers. Epoxy resin bookmarks: 24–48 hours for full cure. Allow an additional 1 hour for threading, finishing, and packaging before the set is ready to sell or gift.
