Disposable Plastic Apron – Studio Protection for Resin Art, Epoxy Crafting & DIY Projects
Keep your clothes safe and your studio clean with the Disposable Plastic Apron from THE CRAFT STATION MOLDS — single-piece protective studio wear designed for resin artists, candle makers, and DIY crafters. Epoxy resin, UV resin, pigments, and wax are notoriously difficult or impossible to remove from fabric once they set. A simple plastic apron worn during every crafting session saves your clothing and eliminates one of the biggest frustrations for working artists.
Lightweight, coverage-friendly, and available individually or in bulk for studio and classroom use — this is the practical studio safety essential that every resin art workspace should stock. Trusted by artists at THE CRAFT STATION MOLDS — Jammu's first dedicated resin art supply store — and trusted by 5,000+ artists pan India.
Why Every Resin Artist Needs a Studio Apron
Resin art is a beautiful but messy craft. Whether you are pouring a geode tray, demolding a silicone mold, mixing pigments, or heat-gunning coasters, spills and splashes are inevitable — especially for beginners. Epoxy resin cures to a hard, permanent plastic that cannot be washed from fabric. A protective apron is not optional safety gear — it is essential studio equipment.
This single-piece plastic apron provides full-torso coverage from neck to knee, protecting your everyday clothing from epoxy resin drips, pigment splashes, wax spills, alcohol ink streaks, and UV resin transfer. The smooth plastic surface means most resin splashes can be wiped away with a dry cloth or IPA-soaked wipe before they cure.
Who Is This For?
- Resin Artists – protection during pouring, mixing, pigmenting, and demolding sessions
- Candle Makers – coverage from hot wax spills, fragrance oil, and dye splashes
- Art Students & Workshop Participants – ideal for studio classes and group workshops where participant protection is required
- B2B Buyers & Studio Owners – stock multiple aprons for student or client use during craft workshops
- Beginners – anyone new to resin art benefits immediately from the confidence that comes with proper protective wear
Full Studio Safety Checklist for Resin Art
A protective apron is the first line of defence — here is the full studio safety routine recommended for every resin session:
Apron – wear a full-cover plastic apron from the start of your session, before any mixing begins. Nitrile Gloves – wear disposable nitrile gloves (not latex) at all times when handling uncured resin and hardener. Eye Protection – safety glasses protect against pigment and resin splash during mixing. Ventilation – work in a well-ventilated space or with a respirator when working with epoxy hardeners. Silicone Mat – protect your work surface from drips with a non-stick silicone mat. Sealed Waste Disposal – cure all resin waste fully before disposal; never pour uncured resin down the drain.
How to Use
Step 1 – Put on before opening resin: Slip the disposable plastic apron over your head and tie the waist strings securely. Always put on your apron before you open any resin, hardener, or pigment containers.
Step 2 – Pair with gloves and eye protection: Put on nitrile gloves after the apron is secured. Add safety glasses for mixing sessions.
Step 3 – Clean spills immediately: If resin or pigment lands on the apron surface, wipe with an IPA (isopropyl alcohol) soaked wipe while still wet. Cured resin will not peel cleanly from any surface.
Step 4 – Dispose after session: This is a disposable protective apron — replace it when visibly soiled or after extended use. Do not reuse an apron with uncured resin contamination on the inner surface.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this apron reusable or disposable?
This is a disposable plastic apron intended for single or short-term use. Replace when visibly soiled with uncured resin or pigment. For heavy studio use, we recommend ordering multiple pieces in advance — contact us on WhatsApp for bulk pricing.
Does this protect against epoxy resin stains?
Yes. The plastic surface resists penetration from epoxy resin, UV resin, and most pigments while they are still in liquid (uncured) form. Wipe spills immediately with an IPA-soaked cloth for best results. Once resin cures on any surface it is permanent.
Can I buy these in bulk for a workshop?
Yes. Bulk pricing is available for studio owners, art teachers, and workshop organisers. Contact us on WhatsApp for wholesale pricing on multiple pieces.
What other safety gear should I use with this apron?
For complete resin art studio safety, pair this apron with: nitrile disposable gloves (not latex — resin hardeners can penetrate latex), safety glasses, and ensure good ventilation or use a respirator rated for chemical vapours when working with epoxy hardener in enclosed spaces.
Is this available for immediate delivery in Jammu?
Yes — in stock and available for same-day delivery in Jammu. Pan India orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days.

@tcsmolds/How to Use
Wash with mild soap and warm water before first use. Dry completely.
Optional but recommended — thin coat of mold release spray for easy demolding.
Combine resin and hardener in the correct 3:1 ratio. Stir slowly for 3–4 minutes.
Pour slowly to avoid bubbles. Use a heat gun to pop surface bubbles. Let cure 24–48 hrs.
Gently flex the mold to release. Sand edges if needed. Polish with resin polish for mirror finish.
