Nature's Own Green — Real Pressed Daisies for Botanical Resin Art & Décor

These light green pressed daisies from THE CRAFT STATION MOLDS bring the quiet charm of a summer meadow directly into your resin pour, candle, or botanical journal. Each set contains 12 individually pressed and dried daisy flowers in soft sage and natural green tones — a colour that reads equally well as fresh and botanical, understated and organic. Use them as resin embeds for jewellery and coasters, as wax candle toppers, as decoupage accents, or as pressed flower art on their own.

At THE CRAFT STATION MOLDS — Jammu's first dedicated resin art supply store, trusted by 5,000+ artists across India — we stock pressed flowers because a well-chosen botanical inclusion can turn a good resin piece into a genuinely beautiful one. These green daisies are dried flat and ready to use straight from the pack — no drying time, no pressing required.

What Are These Pressed Daisies?

This is a set of 12 real dried and pressed daisy flowers in light green colouring. The flowers are naturally dried and pressed flat during processing, preserving their petal shape and producing a thin, flexible flower disc suitable for embedding in resin, UV resin, and wax. The green tone — ranging from sage to soft celadon depending on the flower — gives a botanical, nature-fresh quality that pairs beautifully with clear, white, cream, and earthy-toned resin projects.

These are completely dry — critical for resin embedding, where any residual moisture in a botanical inclusion causes cloudiness, bubbling, or discolouration in the cured resin. Flowers that you press at home require several weeks of pressing and drying time; these are ready immediately.

How to Use Pressed Daisies in Resin

For epoxy resin embedding: mix your epoxy at a 3:1 ratio (Part A:Part B by volume) and pour a thin base layer into your mold or bezel — 2–3 mm deep. Allow this base layer to gel for 1–2 hours until it no longer flows but is not yet fully cured. Place your green daisy face-down on the gel surface, pressing very gently to remove air between the petals and the resin. Pour the remaining resin slowly over the flower to seal it, being careful not to dislodge it. Allow full 24–48 hour cure before demolding. For larger pieces where the flower might float, use a small amount of UV resin to "spot-glue" the flower to the base layer before the flood coat.

For UV resin bezels: pour a thin UV resin base, cure partially (30–60 seconds), lay the daisy face-down, pour a sealing layer, and cure fully under a UV lamp for 2–5 minutes. Wipe the inhibition layer with isopropyl alcohol.

For candle toppers: press the dried daisy gently onto the surface of a freshly poured soy wax candle while the wax is still slightly warm and tacky (but not liquid). The flower adheres naturally to the wax surface as it cools and sets.

Important: Always use only fully dry pressed botanicals in resin. Never embed fresh, semi-dry, or refrigerated flowers — residual moisture causes the resin to cloud, yellow, or develop air bubbles around the inclusion, and may cause the resin to never fully cure in the area of the inclusion.

Project Ideas with Green Pressed Daisies

Botanical pendant collection: Embed one green daisy in a small oval resin bezel, with clear resin so the flower is the complete visual statement. The sage-green petals against a clear background read like a museum-quality botanical specimen — minimal, elegant, and wearable.

Forest floor resin coaster: Pour earthy toned resin (amber, moss green, or natural brown), allow to gel, lay two or three green daisies in a scattered arrangement, and complete the pour. The botanical scatter against an earthy base creates a naturalistic forest-floor aesthetic perfect for a study, library, or nature-themed home.

Herbal themed candle topper: Press green daisies onto a cream or unscented white soy wax candle surface. The sage-green against warm ivory has a clean, herbal apothecary quality — ideal for a wellness gifting hamper alongside a lavender or chamomile fragrance oil candle.

Pressed flower journal spread: Arrange green daisies on a journal or notebook page under a strip of washi tape or a decoupage glue layer for a botanical junk journal or scrapbook spread. The flat pressed form means they lie perfectly flat under paper or acetate.

Botanical art frame insert: Arrange a selection of green daisies on a piece of handmade paper or watercolour paper inside a small frame. No resin or glue needed — simply layer under glass for a dry botanical display piece that complements any green or neutral décor palette.

Eco-gifting hamper accent: Tuck green pressed daisies between kraft tissue layers in a gifting hamper box for a finishing botanical touch. The natural dried flower colour blends with the kraft paper aesthetic for an effortlessly sophisticated package without any craft work required.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these flowers safe to embed directly in resin?
Yes — these flowers are fully dried and pressed. "Fully dry" means no residual moisture that would cloud or inhibit resin curing. Embed them using the two-stage pour technique for best results.

Why is my resin cloudy around the flower I embedded?
Cloudiness around botanical inclusions is almost always caused by residual moisture in the flower. This can happen if you embed a fresh or semi-dry flower, or if the pressed flower has absorbed humidity from storage. Always store pressed flowers in a sealed, dry container and ensure they feel completely papery and light before embedding.

Can I use these as candle toppers without resin?
Yes — press the dried daisy gently onto the surface of a soy or paraffin wax candle while the surface is still slightly warm and tacky. The wax surface grips the dried flower as it cools. Note that flowers on candle surfaces are decorative only — always burn the candle safely and remove decorative toppers before the flame reaches them.

How many flowers does this pack contain?
Each pack contains 12 pressed daisy flowers, giving you enough for multiple projects — a resin coaster and pendant pair, several bezel settings, or a set of candle toppers — from a single purchase.

Do the green flowers hold their colour in resin?
Most dried green botanicals will hold their green tone well when embedded in UV-stabilised clear resin in a dark or indoor setting. Prolonged UV exposure (direct sunlight on the finished piece) can cause some fading over time, as with any natural botanical. UV-resistant topcoat or resin formulas help protect the colour of embedded botanicals.
