How to Cast a Resin Flower Tealight Holder – Step-by-Step

1. Prepare the mold — Place the flower mold on a flat, level surface. No mold release spray needed for platinum silicone. Lightly coat with mold release for extra-easy release on your first use.
2. Mix resin — Combine epoxy at 3:1 ratio (Part A : Part B by volume), stirring slowly for 3–4 minutes. Add translucent tint, mica powder, or alcohol ink. Try blush pink + gold for a bridal look, or deep purple + holographic glitter for a Diwali statement piece.
3. Pour in layers — Fill the mold halfway. Allow 12–18 hours to firm up, then pour the second half. This prevents exotherm in the deeper petal sections.
